CODE OF CONDUCT AND ETHICS:
In order that DAMA-Michigan chapter may better achieve its purposes, a code of
conduct and ethics is adopted and it governs the conduct of all officers,
individual members, guest attendees, speakers and presenters of DAMA-Michigan
chapter. All such persons, in connection with DAMA-Michigan chapter business
matters and activities, must:
1. Conduct themselves and their activities in a professional manner marked by
integrity and spirit of fair play at all times.
2. Refrain from engaging in any activity that would violate the proprietary
rights of their employers, DAMA-Michigan Chapter, or any person of organization.
3. Abide by the Guidelines and Policies of DAMA-Michigan Chapter.
4. Properly register and certify membership in good standing for DAMA-Michigan
Chapter and their associated activities.
5. NOT engage in any sales activity, including direct or indirect solicitation,
or conduct any other activity contrary to the purposes or policies of DAMA-Michigan
Chapter.
6. NOT distribute any material or post displays of any kind at DAMA
International or affiliated chapter sponsored activities without prior approval
and express written consent of DAMA-Michigan Chapter.
7. NOT use the DAMA-Michigan Chapter name or logo other than in the conduct of
DAMA-Michigan Chapter business as determined by the Board of Directors of DAMA-Michigan
Chapter without prior approval and express written consent of the President of
DAMA-Michigan Chapter.
8. NOT use tape recorders or video cameras to record a DAMA-Michigan Chapter
activity or presentation without prior approval and express written consent of
the Board of DAMA-Michigan Chapter and the speakers/presenters.
